Hello! My name is Matthew, and I am pleased you are here!
I have been writing and publishing in one format or another for as long as I can remember. As a child, I designed my own sports magazines at home. In college, I started writing for newspapers, an endeavor that allowed me to meet and tell the stories of many fascinating people for more than a decade. My wife, Molly, and I share our love of Southern recipes and restaurants by publishing a blog called #FoodieScore.
Now, I’m beginning to tell my stories in electronic and print books. This site will help you learn more about them and more about me.
I have lived with anxiety and depression throughout my life, but I did not begin to understand and address those challenges until I reached my thirties. Those have become major focuses in my life, and they are also important themes in my writing.
